Kay Rogers Fisher Hall, 92, of Versailles, passed away on January 21, 2026.
Born March 29, 1933 in Carlisle to the late A.R. and Achie Wilborn Fisher, Kay was a graduate of Carlisle High School and the University of Kentucky. A dedicated teacher, Kay taught typing, shorthand, and business at Nicholas County High School and Woodford County High School. She was a lifelong member of Carlisle Christian Church and attended First Christian Church of Versailles.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband of 66 years, Carroll Gene Hall; and a son, Jonathan Fisher Hall.
Surviving are her son, David (Sharon) Hall; her daughter, Joanna (Ed) Sames; six grandchildren: Melody (Clark) Demasi, Michelle Hall, Matthew Hall, Elizabeth Sames, Rachel Sames, and Nathan (Chelsea) Sames; and three great-grandchildren: Kayden Hall, Evelyn Demasi, and Barrett Sames.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 31st at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home officiated by her dear cousin Bro. Tony Smith with visitation beginning at 10:30 A.M. Private burial will be in the Carlisle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay’s memory may be made to Carlisle Christian Church or First Christian Church of Versailles.
