Keith Lewis Hardwick, 85, husband of Linda Terrell Hardwick, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington.
Born December 13, 1931 in Nicholas Co. to the late Earl & Nancy Auxier Hardwick, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a dedicated tobacco and cattle farmer in the Jackstown area. Keith was a proud member of American Legion Post 17 and V.F.W. Post 8666 and was a lifelong member of the Carlisle Christian Church.
In addition to his wife of 60 years, he is survived by his children, Danny Hardwick and Darlene Hardwick Davis, 3 loving grandchildren, Shanna & Mason Davis and Jordan Hardwick, 2 sisters-in-law, Elaine Hardwick & Faye (Bill) Hedges and special family members Jamie Davis & Jennifer Skidmore.
Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Wayne (Helen) Hardwick, Malcolm (Frances) Hardwick and Kenneth Hardwick.
Services will be conducted 11:00A.M. Thursday, July 27 in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel by Bro. Jimmy Caswell. Burial with military honors will follow.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home.
