Kevin Trent Wells

Kevin Trent Wells, 48, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born June 29, 1976 in Mt. Sterling, he worked for many years on area horse farms. Kevin enjoyed working with and riding horses and fixing cars. 

Surviving are the love of his life, Rachel Crawford; his 6 children: Maranda Kay Wright, Kevin Wells, Jr., Triffany Michelle Wells (Mitchell Purvis), Evan James Lee (Hayley) Wells, Jadin Brooke Wells & Payton Rae Wells; his father, Bobby (Jenny) Wells, Sr.; 2 brothers, Bobby “Bo” Wells, Jr. & John Wayne Wells; a sister, Rebecca Wells Mohan; and 6 grandchildren: Lilliana & Chevelle Wells, Samuel, Harper & Axel Purvis and Adalynn Wilson. 

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Marilyn McCarty Howard & Roscoe Howard. 

Services will be 6:00 P.M. Sunday, December 22nd at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M.
