Larry Wayne Corder

Larry Wayne Corder, 70, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025 at his home in Nicholas County. 

Born May 2, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois, Larry worked for many years as a carpenter and was currently employed by Central Kentucky Tack & Leather. He loved fishing, watching the Chicago Bears and spending time with his beloved grandson, TJ. 

Surviving are his son, Larry W. (Kelly) Corder, Jr.; a brother, Garry (Sandy) Crawford; 2 sisters, Joyce (Harold) Gerstein & Glenna Nolan (Ken Wells); his grandson, Tucker James “TJ” Corder, and another grandchild on the way; along with several nieces & nephews. 

Larry was preceded in death by his mother & stepfather, Lorena (Phipps) & Carl Crawford; his father, Lester Corder, Sr.; a brother, Lester Corder, Jr.; and a sister, Linda Bell.

In accordance with his wishes, Larry will be cremated and inurned in the Carlisle Cemetery. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 20th at the Nicholas County Fire Department, 250 S. Walnut Street, Carlisle.
