Lester Dale Corder, Jr.

Lester Dale Corder, Jr., 71, of Georgetown, formerly of Carlisle, husband of the late Rosa Corder, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born October 26, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois, Lester called Kentucky home for over 40 years and was a member of Grace Christian Church in Georgetown.

He is survived by 3 sons: Shannon Corder, Wesley Corder & Donnie Jewell; a daughter, Lynetta Wright; 2 step-daughters, Anna Campbell & Viola Ritchie; 2 brothers, Larry Corder & Gary (Sandy) Crawford; and 2 sisters, Joyce (Harold) Gerstein & Glenna Nolan (Ken Wells), along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces & nephews.

Also preceding him in death were his mother and step-father, Lorena Phipps Crawford & Carl Crawford; his father, Lester Corder, Sr.; a daughter, Amanda Wright, and a sister Linda Bell.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 2nd at the Paris City Barn, 720 High Street, Paris, KY 40361.
