Louise Clark Sherrod, 78, of Lexington, formerly of Carlisle, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born February 10, 1941 in Lexington to the late Elva C. & Gladys Brooks Beal Clark, she was a retired administrative assistant with the Ohio Casualty Insurance Company and Lexmark International. Louise loved to spend time with her family & friends and she especially loved to laugh with her sisters. She had a strong faith in God and His promise of salvation. A very caring lady, she lived her life by the philosophy of– "I hope I said or did something that made someone’s life a little better."
Surviving are a daughter, Janet Marie Sherrod, of Cincinnati, 3 brothers, 8 sisters, including her beloved twin, Janice Vanlandingham, of Lexington, a special niece, Ellen Butler, a special great-nephew, Andrew Butler, and a special great-niece, Katherine (Michael) Willis, along with her children, Ryleigh & Asher Willis, and dear lifelong friends, Marie Hicks and Susan Deye.
Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Carlisle Cemetery.
