Margaret Marie (Colemire) Jolly

Margaret Marie Jolly, 90, wife of the late Ed Jolly, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

A native of Nicholas County born September 24, 1925 to the late Willie & Nettie Smith Colemire, Margaret was a former employee of Bluegrass Industries, a loving wife, mother & grandmother and member of the Hilltop Wesleyan Church.

Left to cherish her memory are 6 daughters: Sylvia (Jay) Mitchell & Wanda Thornsburg, of Moorefield, Imogene Baber, Irene (John) Mitchell & Beverly (Rod) Montgomery, of Paris, and Pamela (Joe) Shepherd, of Lexington; a sister, Stella Moran, of Sardis; a special "daughter" Frances Cooley Browning; 29 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Thomas Lee & Larry Jolly; 2 daughters, Mildred Jolly & Linda Walters; 3 son-in-laws, Avery Thornsburg, Virgil Walters & Billy Baber; a grandson, Darrin Baber; 2 granddaughters, Kavanna Mitchell & Hope Jolly; a great-grandson, Joshua Mitchell; 2 sisters: Alice Cooley & Pauline Hughes; and 5 brothers: Bruce, Raymond, Kenneth, Lovell and Oscar Colemire.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Johnny Adamson. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
