Margaret Wagoner, 90, wife of the late Eugene H. Wagoner, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Bourbon Heights in Paris.
She was born October 30, 1925 in Nicholas Co. to the late John & Mary Ritchie Livingood. From the time of their marriage on Valentine’s Day in 1946, she and Gene devoted their lives to their family, home and the farm they dearly loved. Margaret was a faithful member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, James Lee Wagoner, of Carlisle; 2 daughters, Imogene (Frank) Asbury & Carolyn (Dave) Puckett, both of Paris; a brother, Johnny (Nancy) Livengood, of Carlisle; 2 sisters, Clarine Howard, of Carlisle, & Elizabeth (Thomas) Hughes, of Ewing; her grandchildren: Pamela Asbury, Tony (Suzannah) Asbury, Jr. Michelle Morris, Jeff (Julie) Asbury, Tammy (Matthew) Hash and Gail Asbury; her great-grandchildren: Matthew (Karol) Morris, Bradley Morris, Josh Asbury, Christin Asbury, Roland Underwood, Dustin Morris, Aubrey Asbury, Xena Underwood, Lane Asbury, Annslee Hash & Avaree Hash; and a great-great granddaughter, Brinley Morris.
Also preceding her in death are 2 brothers: Leonard & Roy B. Livingood; 2 sisters: Samantha Platt & Kathleen Jones; a granddaughter, Ginger Asbury; and a grandson, Stephen Morris.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Howard Livingood. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
