Martha Mae (McKenzie) Sidles

Martha Mae Sidles, 92, wife of the late William S. Sidles, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home.

Born September 22, 1923 in Bourbon County to the late Samuel & Sophia Longbottom McKenzie, she was a graduate of Headquarters High School, a retired employee of Jockey International and a member of the Rose Hill United Methodist Church, where she had been active in the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include a son: James P. (Janet) Sidles, of Carlisle; 2 daughters, Barbara Scott, of Hardyville, and Phyllis Sidles, of Carlisle; a sister, Helen Baucom, of New Port Richey, Florida; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Phillip Sidles, and a daughter, Jacqueline Kash.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Jerry Eubanks with burial to follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday.
