Obituary
Mary Smalley Porter, 78, wife of the late Ted B. Porter, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Fleming County Hospital.
Born December 21, 1943 in Williamsport, Indiana to the late Harley John & Mildred Louise Sanders Smalley, she was a retired shift leader for the RCA Company and worked for many years as a realtor. Mary loved to read, crochet, work puzzles & crosswords and watch her favorite programs- Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! & Perry Mason. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Surviving are 3 children: Trampis G. (Wendy) Porter & Angela Kinser, both of Carlisle, and Steven (Cheryl) Fletcher, of LaFayette, Indiana; 5 grandchildren: Vicki Micks, Nathan (Kim) Tomson, Amanda (Robert) Parker, Trampis T. (Cheyenne) Porter & Emanual (Tori) Porter; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were 5 brothers: Eddie, Tom, William, Harry & Elmer Smalley; 2 sisters, Adrienne Buikema & Mable Taylor; and a granddaughter, Kristen Wilson.
In accordance with Mary’s wishes, there will be a private family memorial service following cremation.
