Larry Michael “Mike” Emmons, 62, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at his home in Nicholas County.
Born June 18, 1962 in Mt. Sterling to the late George E. & Dorothy Guy Emmons, he was a 1980 graduate of Bath County High School and worked for many years at Pen Tire & 3M. “Big E” enjoyed watching all UK sports, riding horses, dancing & having fun with friends, and coached Little League baseball for several years.
Surviving are his brother, George E. Emmons, Jr.; special friends, Kenny & Martha Holbrook, Kenton & Kimberly Holbrook and Logan & Cheyenne Holbrook and their children; 2 aunts, Debby (Billy) Coffey and Melissa Dailey; 3 uncles, Bobby (Angie) Dailey, Carl Dailey & Wayne (Shannon) Dailey; and a large extended family.
Also preceding him in death were 3 aunts: Connie Frederick, Mamie Duncan & Virginia Banta; and 3 uncles, John & Ronnie Emmons and James Dailey.
Graveside services by Bro. Kenton Holbrook will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 20th at Longview Cemetery in Bethel.
