Mike Jones

Michael Emerson “Mike” Jones, 68, of Georgetown, husband of the late Sandy Wise, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care.

Born May 3, 1953 in Paris, KY to Jean Hollar Jones and the late Charles Clark Jones, Jr., Mike was a retired self-employed architect and an avid fisherman.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, are 3 sisters: Gloria Wesley, Judy Jones & Deanna Hill; 9 nieces and nephews, and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, Charles “Chuck” Jones, III.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 26th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday.
