Patty (Watkins) Jefferson

Patty Jefferson, 74, wife of Ed Jefferson, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born January 22, 1944 in Nicholas County to the late Leonard & Inez Jolly Watkins, she was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. She greatly enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden.

Additional survivors include 3 sons, Jeffrey Jefferson, Timmy (Gail) Jefferson and Robin (Cristi) Jefferson, all of Carlisle; a sister, Billie Gray, of Nicholas County; 6 grandchildren: Chris Jefferson, Brandon (Melanie) Jefferson, Kayla Jefferson, Morgan Jefferson, Katie Jefferson and Cody Livingood; and 3 special nieces: Judy Hall, Dianna Ritchie and Sandy Ishmael.

Also preceding her in death were 5 brothers: Houston, Sanford, Foster, Melvin & Marvin Watkins, and 3 sisters: Ruby George, Gladys Shrout and Rosie Myers.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Alvin Ecklar and Mike Watson. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
