Paul Warren Day

Paul Warren Day, 93, husband of the late Louise Harpe Day, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

Born February 17, 1924 in Nicholas County to the late Samuel James & Robbie Richey Day, he was a 1941 graduate of Headquarters High School, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, a lifelong farmer and retired employee of Bundy Tubing Company. Paul enjoyed spending time fishing and watching ball games and he loved to grow a garden.

Survivors include his son, Steve Day, and his grandson, Jeremiah Day, both of Carlisle.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 P.M.

There will be a private family burial in the Carlisle Cemetery.
