Paul Allen Hardin, Sr.

Paul Allen Hardin, Sr., 72, husband of Carla Hunt Hardin, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

A Nicholas County native born May 22, 1948 to the late Vernard Fithian & Jenny Bell Ervin Hardin, he was a former employee of Toyota Motor Manufacturing and Winchester Farms, a retired Lt. Colonel with the U.S. Army Reserves and longtime member of the Carlisle Christian Church, where he served as an Elder and organized their worship technology. 
  
Additional survivors include his son, Paul Allen Hardin, Jr. and fiancée, Jami Gilbert, of Maysville; his daughter, Jennifer Hardin Hayes, of Paris; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Craig) Bailey, of Sharpsburg; his twin brother,  Tom (Judy) Hardin, of Carlisle; 3 grandchildren: Brittany (Jacob) Tompkins, Alexis Hardin (Christopher Thomas) and Randy Lee Hayes, Jr.; and 3 step-grandchildren, Cole, Maddy & Rylan Bailey.  

Paul was also preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Hardin.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19 in the Carlisle Cemtery Chapel by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial with military honors will follow.
