Arthur Paul Tincher, 89, husband of 50 years to Phyllis Gordley Tincher, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Bourbon Community Hospital.
Born December 18, 1931 in Nicholas County, Paul was a lifelong farmer, a real estate investor in both Kentucky and Florida, a former Nicholas County Magistrate, Farm Bureau Director & Southern States Director, had been President of the Welch Subdivision Association (FL) and was a member of the Carlisle Christian Church.
Additional survivors include 4 children: Paul (Connie) Tincher, Jr., of Carlisle, Kathy Tincher Wilson, of Mt. Sterling, John D. (Joo Hye) Tincher, of Alexandria, Virginia and James William (Joanna) Tincher, of Arcadia, Florida; 6 brothers: Luther Tincher, Jim (Elizabeth) Tincher, Gayle (Shirley) Tincher, Danny Tincher, Frankie (Martha) Hilander and Jerry (Helen) Hilander; 2 sisters, Mary (Sherman) Evans and Dorothy (Ollie) Flora; a sister-in-law, Wanda Tincher; 6 grandsons: Steve (Stephanie) Tincher, Mark Tincher, Eric Sexton, Tyler Tincher, Johnathan Tincher and Solomon Tincher; a “special” granddaughter, Alexis Evans; 6 great-grandchildren: Brenna (Zach) Burns, Abigail Tincher, Lindsey Tincher, Tyler Tincher, Shelby (Conner) Fraley and Madison Sexton; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Brayden & Emma Burns.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, Willie "Bill" Tincher and Alma Tapp Hilander; a daughter, Sherry Sue Tincher; and a brother, Billy Allen Tincher.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Carlisle Christian Church by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the church.
