Arthur Paul Tincher, Jr., 73, of Carlisle, husband of Connie Lukins Tincher, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born November 3, 1951 in Nicholas County, he was a 1970 graduate of Nicholas County High School, a retired employee of Hidaway Farm, a lifelong farmer and member of Carlisle Christian Church. Paul, Jr. was an avid UK Basketball fan and loved collecting toy tractors.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Steve (Stephanie) Tincher and Mark (Lesley) Tincher, both of Nicholas County; his “Mother”, Phyllis Tincher of Carlisle; a brother, John D. (Joo Hye) Tincher of Alexandria, Virginia; a sister, Kathy Tincher Wilson of Mt. Sterling; 4 grandchildren: Brenna (Zach) Burns, Tyler Tincher, Abby Tincher & Lindsey Tincher (Blake Burkhardt); and 3 great-grandchildren: Brayden & Emma Burns and Alba Tincher.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Paul Tincher; his mommy, Dollie Dean Lemons Mers; a sister, Sherry Sue Tincher; and a brother, James William (Joanna) Tincher.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 8th at Carlisle Christian Church by Rev. Steve Smith with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday at the church.
