Phillip W. Gaunce

Phillip Wesley "Doodle" Gaunce, 63, husband of the late Patsy Jean Gaunce, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

He was born December 24, 1953 in Bourbon Co. to the late Robert Wesley & Etna Mae Smith Gaunce, worked as a painter and enjoyed playing country music songs on the guitar.

Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Jean Gaunce; 2 step-sons, Brandon & Jamie Nolen; 2 brothers, Lowell Allen Gaunce and David Bradley Gaunce; a sister, Janice Moore; and 2 granddaughters, McKenzie Lynn & Aliyah Shay Gaunce

Also preceding him in death were a step-son, B.J. Nolen, 4 sisters, Esther Purcell, Mary Jo Banks, Wanda Nesbit & Roxann Gaunce, and 4 brothers, Douglas Elden Gaunce, James Harvey Gaunce, Robert Wayne Gaunce, Sr. and Thomas Wesley Gaunce.

A graveside memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 13 in the Millersburg Cemetery.
