Phillip Atwood Wilson

Phillip Atwood Wilson, 70, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital. 

Born July 17, 1952 in Lexington to the late Espy D. & Opal Davis Wilson, he was a 1971 graduate of Lafayette High School, a former employee of Coldstream Research Farm at U.K. and LexMark International and also worked in accounting, as well as had his own internet sales business.  Phillip greatly enjoyed playing the keyboard, especially rock music. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. 

Surviving are 2 sisters, Kathy Price, of Winchester, and Pamela (Michael) Cook, of Louisville; a brother, Joey Ben Wilson, of Lexington; 5 nieces & nephews: Aaron (Roxanne) Wilson, Chevi Price, Michelle (Grant) Gover, Jason Cook and Melissa (Dustin) Stephens; and 4 great-nieces & nephews: Rylie & Alexander Espy Wilson and Kate & Caleb Gover. 

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home.
