Obituary
Robert Thomas “R.T.” Massey, 63, husband of the late Marian Faye Massey, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Baptist Health Lexington.
Born March 9, 1959 in Bourbon Co. to the late Harold, Sr. & Eva Bartlett Massey, R.T. was a 1977 graduate of Nicholas Co. High School where he was a standout football player and was a longtime machinist with Paris Manufacturing and Joy Mining.
Survivors include his son, Christian Massey; a daughter, Morgan Faye Massey; a brother, Harold (Renee) Massey, Jr.; and a sister, Joanie Asbury, along with several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death was a sister, Joyce Ann Dampier.
Following cremation the family will hold private services.
