Raymond Snapp

Raymond Snapp, 92, husband of the late Ellen Wilson Snapp, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

Born March 9, 1927 in Nicholas County to the late Leonard K. & Grace Elizabeth Earlywine Snapp, he was a lifelong farmer, who loved hunting, fishing and especially music.

Surviving are a daughter, Raye Jean Snapp; a brother, Earnest (Betty) Snapp; 2 sisters: Mary Ruth (Nelson) Dunaway and Beulah (Bobby) True; several nieces & nephews and his beloved dog, Tracy.

Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Betty Jane Snapp; 4 brothers: Bernis, Bob, Clay & Larry Ray Snapp; and 2 sisters: Anna Mae Curtis and Minnie Berryman.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service.
