Robert "Bob" M. Buckler

Robert "Bob" Michael Buckler, 66, husband of Nancy Cord Buckler, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Lexington VA Medical Center-Leestown.

Born March 8, 1951 in Robertson County to the late William Bentley & Virginia May Robertson Buckler, he was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea during Vietnam, was a long-time truck driver hauling cars for several area dealerships and a member of the Baptist faith. Bob had a passion for fishing and loved to tell stories and talk with his friends.

Additional survivors include 2 step-daughters: Gail Asbury, of Paris, and April Abney, of Ewing; 2 brothers: Wayne (Peggy) Buckler & William Warren (Jean) Buckler, both of Robertson County; a sister, Juanita (Bruce) Robertson, of Maysville; and 3 step-grandchildren: Joshua Asbury, Kayla Buckler and Aubrey Brooke Asbury.

Also preceding him in death was a step-son-in-law, Bobby Gene Abney.

Per Bob's request, there will be no services following cremation.
