Rondall Thomas George, 76, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born February 18, 1941 in Nicholas County to the late Thomas & Flossie Shields George, he was lifelong resident of the Myers community, a former employee of the Ladish Co., Weaver and Monessen Hearth Systems and an auxiliary member of VFW #8666 Lloyd George Post. Rondall’s greatest joys came from fishing, cars and his beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Sue George (Tracy Lewis), of Mooresburg, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Thomas (Kathy) Jolly, David (Danielle) Jolly and Becky Jolly; six great-grandchildren: Zoey Jolly, Emily Jolly, Isabella Frederick, David Jolly, Skylar Jolly and Michael Willoughby, and a sister, Bonnie Minton, of Carlisle.
Also preceding him in death were his former wife, Ann Trussell George, two sons, Darrin Allen George and Rondall David George, a brother, Jerry Whayne George and 3 sisters Eunice Bromagen, Leona Trussell & Jean McCarthy.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 24, 2017 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Alvin Ecklar and Rev. Gaylord Gillispie. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.
