Rondall Wayne Hawkins, 68, formerly of Carlisle, husband of 48 years to the late Bonnie Faye Kiskaden Hawkins, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Grant Hospital in Williamstown.
A Nicholas County native born May 18, 1954 to the late Elmer Lee & Susan Jolly Hawkins, he was a retired employee of TTI Railroad and North Central 4-H Camp, and a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Rondall loved fishing, hunting, riding horses & motorcycles, and attending church.
Survivors include a daughter, April Lantman and her husband, Adam, of Dry Ridge; April’s In-Law’s, Peggy Lantman & Bruce Veit, of Dry Ridge; 2 brothers, Roy (Stephanie) Hawkins, Sr., of Carlisle, and Gary (Carla) Hawkins, of Flemingsburg; a sister, Linda Sue (Billy) Hendricks, of Mt. Olivet; and his beloved grand-dogs, Piggy & Jericho; along with several nieces & nephews.
Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, James Marion “Pete” Hawkins & Irvin Lee Hawkins; 5 sisters: Charlotte Faye Hawkins, Brenda Lou Smith, Carolyn Ann Asbury, Eva Jean Fitzwater & Virginia Mae Kiser; and a sister-in-law, Anita Hawkins.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 11th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Donovan with burial following in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Saturday until the time of service.
