Rose Vanderwater Obituary

Rose Marie Vanderwater, 75, wife of William A. “Tex” Vanderwater, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at her home in Nicholas County.

Born July 10, 1949 in Sacramento, California to the late Robert & Helen Sawyer Hann, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Rose has been a resident of Kentucky since 2006.

Additional survivors include 2 sons, Loren Periman & Hal Periman; 2 stepsons, Bill Vanderwater & Jason Vanderwater; 2 sisters, Linda Martin & Karen Luhr; and 6 grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were 2 sons, Floyd Periman & James Periman, and a brother, Robert Hann.

In accordance with her wishes, Rose will be cremated with no formal services.
