Obituary

Stephanie Lynn “Stacey” Reynolds Martin, 72, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023. 

Born September 27, 1950 in Lexington to the late Charles Theodore & Katherine Hisle Reynolds, she was a retired security officer, having worked for many years in the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, and a member of the Lexington United Baptist Church. Stacey loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and attending her church. 

Surviving are her 2 children: Leah (John) Wagoner and Aaron Scott Mullins; a brother, Shannon Reynolds; 4 grandchildren: John Dalton (Emily) Wagoner, Darby Wagoner, Tanner Mullins & Claire Mullins; a great-grandson on the way, Walker James Wagoner; and a special friend, Joyce Brock; along with a large extended family. 

Also preceding her in death were a brother, Sheldon “Ted” Reynolds, and a sister, Sheila Reynolds Fitch. 

Services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 12th at Lexington United Baptist Church by Pastor David Nichols, Pastor Danny Varney, Pastor Jason Varney and Pastor Ron Woodward. Following cremation, inurnment will be on the family lot in the Sophus Cemetery, Lincoln County.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at the church.
