Suzanne Kenney

Suzanne Kenney, 78, of Carlisle, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Perkins Country Manor in Augusta. 

A Nicholas County native born December 28, 1946 to the late Ermine & Jean Cook Kenney, she was a retired librarian and worked in insurance sales later in life. 

Surviving are her brother, Mike (Barbara) Kenney; a nephew, Joey (Sallie) Kenney; and her great-nieces & nephews: Sola & Jagger Kenney and Luke & Piper Hardison. 

Also preceding her in death was a niece, Christie Hatton Hardison. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 15th in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel. 

Suzanne will be inurned on her parents’ lot at Carlisle Cemetery.
