Vickie Ross

Vickie Aline Ross, a loving, kind soul, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024, at her home in Nicholas County.

She was born August 29, 1973, in Paris, to her loving parents, Victor and Virginia Fryman Ross, of Nicholas County. Vickie was a smart, kindhearted soul, and a devoted mother to her son, Cody. Vickie loved spending time with her family and friends. She graduated from Nicholas County High School in 1993 and went on to live her life as a nurturer, a care-giver, and a helpful hand to all. 

In addition to her parents, Vickie is survived by her son Cody Earlywine; three sisters, Emma Faye Morris, Billy Joe Ross & Susan Warmouth (Josh Overstreet); eight nieces & nephews: Travis Morris, Jessica (Zach) Rhodes, Samantha Cox, Steven Cox, Elizabeth Kiskaden, David Shane Cox, Katherine Warmoth & Kaiden Warmouth; an aunt, Belinda Watkins; three uncles: Billy Fryman, Danny Ross & Omer Wise Ross; and five great-nieces & nephews. 

Vickie was preceded in death by her grandparents Laura & William Hanson Fryman and Sylvia & Omer Ross, Sr.; her cousin, Kendall Fryman; and one great-niece, Mariah Nicole Thomas. 

Vickie has a large and loving family, who remember her for her big heart and her kind soul. Those who knew her remember her for her kindness, selflessness, and for the caring person she was. Her kind spirit was felt by all who knew her. Her smile and laughter were contagious to everyone she met. As we say our sweet, but somber goodbyes, we also celebrate the life and time we spent with her. We hope Vickie is relaxing in heaven and watching over all who she loved. 

Cremation with private services has been chosen by the family.
