Victor Watkins

Victor William Watkins, 52, of Nicholas County, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Stanton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A Nicholas County native born December 24, 1972, he was a 1992 graduate of Nicholas County High School, worked as a carpenter for many years and was a lifelong farmer. Victor enjoyed camping and spending time with family & friends.

Surviving are his mother, Belinda Fryman Watkins; 3 children: Tyler, Ean Michael & Amelia Mary Justice Watkins; a brother, George “Bubby” Watkins, Jr.; 4 grandchildren: Branson Tyler, Clyrease Raylyn, Andrew Arnold & Xavier Giddion Reed Watkins; and a special friend, Terry Feeback, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Allen Watkins, Sr.; a daughter, Candice Watkins; and a brother, Kendall Fryman.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 10th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Monday until the time of service.
