Wanda (Lawrence) Berry

Wanda Lawrence Berry, 85, wife of Wayne Berry, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. 

Born February 17, 1939 in Nicholas County to the late Paul & Bernice Pauline Duncan Lawrence, she was a 1957 graduate of Carlisle High School and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. She grew up a member of Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Carlisle and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Cynthiana. Wanda loved to travel, color and watch television, especially Lifetime movies. She had also been involved in the Garden Club of Kentucky, the Red-Hatters and the Nicholas County Homemakers. 

Additional survivors include 1 son, Kevin Peddicord; 3 stepsons, David Peddicord, Mike (Teresa) Berry & Wes (Leslie) Berry; a stepdaughter, Becky (Ricky) McFarland; 6 grandchildren: Steve & Daniel Peddicord, Sarah Koch, Regina (Derek) Anderson, Jessica (Melissa) Berry & Erica Berry; 2 great-grandchildren, Silas & Lucas Anderson; and special cousins, Sylvia Taylor & Kelley Kinnett.

Also preceding her in death were her first husband, Milton R. Peddicord; and a granddaughter, Suzanne Berry. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28th at Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe by Reverend Danny Fister. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
