William Fite

Leonard William Fite, 84, husband of 66 years to Phillis Brumagen Fite, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his home in Carlisle.

A native of Nicholas County born March 12, 1940 to the late Leonard Wilson & Lucille Snapp Fite, he was a retired employee of Jockey International, LeeLynn Machining and the Nicholas County Recycling Center. William also farmed most of his life. 

Additional survivors include 2 daughters, Kavanna Fite and Tracey (Jeff) Snapp, both of Carlisle. 

Also preceding him in death were a brother, Roger Gene Fite, and a sister, Bonnie Elaine Glass. 

Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 14th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Monday until the time of service.
