Russell Saint Clair Wills, Jr., 78, husband of 56 years to Kay Irvin Wills, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at his home.

Born December 3, 1940 in Nicholas County to the late Russell Saint Clair, Sr. & Nora Stone Wills, R.S. was a 1959 graduate of Nicholas County High School, attended Morehead State University and was a former member of the Kentucky Army National Guard. A life-long tobacco farmer, he was also an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, a former Nicholas County School Board member, a member of Dougherty Lodge #65 F. & A.M. and member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Julia Wills (Mark) Evans, and 3 granddaughters, Holly, Emily & Erin Hopkins, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to his care-givers, the Kim Workman family and Kathy Rainey.

Also preceding him in death was a sister, Ruth Wills Ball.

Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Rocky Wallace.
